Serbia – Raspberries & Blackberries

Last week Serbia had some fairly harsh, and almost unexpected weather in their fruit growing regions, which saw hail, sub-zero temperatures and snow all in the same week. Although the weather started to improve this weekend, it is fair to say that there is extensive damage to some of the crops. Fortunately the main lines we buy from Serbia are raspberries and blackberries, which are later crops, so hopefully damage will be limited.
